 What are plug-ins?
While your browser can handle many types of files, occasionally it needs a plug-in or helper application to extend it to handle things like audio, video, and animation. Although separate programs, plug-ins literally plug into your browser and give it an extra boost of power to manage more complicated files and make your experience as a user more interesting and interactive. Depending on your browser version, you might need to download a plug-in to view a video, hear an audio file, or play a game. The two most commonly used plug-ins are Adobe Flash and Shockwave.

You can download both the Shockwave and Flash Players from Adobe's website.

When I try to print information or part of a page from Perspective, part of the page gets cut off.
If you have printing problems or your printouts are irregular, you may need to change the printer settings for your browser:

To adjust the margin settings, select File>Page Setup from within your browser. Tab between the four available fields to change the values of the top, bottom, left, or right margins.

To change the paper size, go to File>Print, select the Properties tab and use the drop-down menu to choose a different paper size or to restore your default to letter (8 ½ x 11 in).

To change the page orientation (landscape or portrait), go to File>Print, choose the Properties tab and use the radio buttons at the left of the dialog box for selection.

To avoid repeated printer errors, select File>Print Preview to ensure your print job is properly aligned.
